The Coffee-Shop Day

I cannot remember what I want to write here. It just popped in my head and …where did it go? Ok. here it is. I just spoke to my sister and out of daily conversation she mentioned a new coffee shop in our neighborhood. She said the coffee there was so good, especially the cappuccino. She mentioned other stores that I haven’t visit. I’m amazed at how she manage time to trying out things like that, while being a mother of six. She’s a dentist, not full-time, so she mainly spends time with the kids. I mean, I’m single and currently a part-time worker, so why I don’t know about all this?

It’s not about the coffee shops. It could be anything. It’s just about your daily dose of transcendence, as Austin Kleon said, to help keep you going. In-between relaxation time. I like to visit library once in a while, but until now it’s (still) only my campus library. But I also like writing in an open space, someplace carefully designed to make u feel comfortable, near a window. With, perhaps, a cup of coffee, that's not instant coffee. Actually I had a place I only ever visit once and I’ve always wanted to come back, it’s near my part-time workplace, but I haven’t till now. Maybe I should go next week. Sometimes you need to just go and do something, and not thinking too much about it. Because you know, the demons hate fresh air.
